Part of the Healthy Aging RRTC's mission is to educate and train future healthcare providers about aging with a physical disability. The RRTC works closely with the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine's Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language Pathology, Rehabilitation Counseling, and Prosthetics & Orthotics (P&O) degree programs, and through our Pre- and Post-Doctoral Fellowship programs.
The experience of working with new clinicians and researchers and watching them advance within the field of rehabilitation and learn more about aging with a physical disability is tremendously rewarding.
