Secondary Conditions

People living with and growing older with a long-term physical disability often struggle with:

  • pain
  • feeling tired or weak (fatigue)
  • feeling sad or worthless (depressed)
  • difficulty staying or falling asleep
  • memory problems
  • attention problems
  • bowel and bladder problems
  • overweight and obesity

These kinds of problems are often called Secondary Conditions or Secondary Symptoms or Health Conditions
